How did the HPGC Hackers come about?

The HPGC Hackers is a NCGA Associate Club comprised of members from the recently combined Hackers Golf Club and Hack Pack Golf Club. The local courses know us as the "Hack Pack/Hackers" but you can call us Ray. The Hackers have been around since the late 60's and the Hack Pack since the early 80's. There're actually no original founding members left on either club but the Hack Pack's proud of it's closest relec and many time president Mike Borsum, pictured left after heavy doses of Vitamin B and Redbull, vodka teeth whitenning techniques, and extensive hours of Photoshop airbrushing work. The combined clubs consist of members of all age groups and golfing skills. Most of us joined when we started golf and got better through the years playing competitive yet fun tournaments with a bunch of golfing peers. Because the majority of our members are located in the Silicon Valley area, most tournaments are held at local premier courses like Poppy Hills, Poppy Ridge, Cinnabar Hills, Coyote Creek, Pasatiempo, Bayonet, Eagle Ridge, Callippe Preserve, Aptos/Seascape and Harding Park.

We enable our members to play monthy without the worry of scheduling tee times, finding playing partners or concocting excuses for the significant other.  Since all arrangements to play are done for you, just show up a half hour before tee time and play! Prizes for winners and side games are a blast!. In addition, it is a great place to meet new people for continuing friendship and business relationships.

We hope you join and enjoy the club as much as we have over these years!
